HOW TO FIX BROKEN EYESHADOWS, HIGHLIGHTERS AND ANYTHING PRESSED POWDERED! (OR WAS!)

Have you ever had that heart pounding feeling when your favourite eyeshadow or highlighter is broken or smashed into pieces? YEP! It is heartbreaking and terrible! Especially if you have just purchased it brand new!.

This happened to me yesterday and it was my Anastasia Beverly Hills Sweets Glow Kit which I love so much and use all the time so I was devastated when I accidentally knocked it on the floor and those delicate powders just broke into pieces!

If you think theres no going back there is a way.

This guide can also be used for blushes, bronzers and foundations

WHAT YOU NEED:

WHITE VINEGAR OR RUBBING ALCOHOL (I used white vinegar)

SPOON (Teaspoon preferably)

SYRINGE OR STRAW (I used a baby syringe)

CLING WRAP

A BOWL OR BOWLS (For multiple colours)

STEP 1:

Gather any loose or broken powders and UNDAMAGED powder

swell and seperate them in different bowls so you have no transfer of different colours.

STEP 2:

Start crushing each highlighter/eyeshadow with the top part of your spoon (point part) into powder so it becomes loose powder.

STEP 3:

Start with one powder at a time , spoon your first powder back into its casing make sure to get every single bit of powder, once you have cased it in put 2-3 drops of vinegar or rubbing alcohol with the syringe or straw Into the powder.

STEP 4:

Grab a small piece of cling wrap just enough to cover, with the back of your spoon slowly press down on the plastic and glide and swirl to press the powder back into shape, the cling wrap prevents swirl marks. Check underneath the cling wrap to see if it is smooth enough and back in one piece if not keep pressing and swirling or add some more vinegar or rubbing alcohol if its still a little crumbly. Repeat for the rest of the colours.
